Nimonic 75 nickel base alloy is a nickel chromium alloy, which has a low content of titanium and iron, and has good high temperature properties. The matrix distortion is caused by the addition of elements (chromium, tungsten, molybdenum, etc.) which are different from the atomic size of the base metal. The elements (such as cobalt) which can reduce the stacking layer error energy of the alloy matrix and elements (tungsten, molybdenum, etc.) which can slow the diffusion rate of the matrix elements are added to strengthen the matrix.
